Data & methodology

Companies. We search the public Companies House register for active companies with “competitions”, “comps”, “giveaways” or “raffles” in their name, incorporated since 2015. Last refresh: 28 October 2026. We show the town of the registered office only.

Classification. 50 companies were excluded automatically because their name or SIC codes point to sport, arts, education or events rather than prize competitions. Remaining companies are labelled “likely” (prize-related words in the name, or SIC 92000 / 47910 / 93290) or “possibly” prize competitions. This is an automatic check and can be wrong.

DCMS Code. The signatory list is copied from GOV.UK. Signatories are listed by trading name, so a match on our pages is a name match, not a confirmed legal entity.

Not yet checked. Websites, Trustpilot, winners pages, free entry routes and ASA rulings are not yet collected. We label them “Not yet checked” instead of guessing.

Independence. We are not affiliated with any listed operator or platform. Sponsors are labelled and cannot change data.
